When I thought about what makes our Academy different, a million things came to mind, but I want you to know what the most important difference is to me: We stress foundations in classical art. We will teach you brush stroke by brush stroke how to achieve results and we know how to do this because we are all working, professional artists.

But...and here is the difference...We don't want to produce clones of us. We want to find that unique "thing" that you do, the twist you might have and encourage your difference in interpretation. Yes, the anatomy must be correct and you need to know first, how to paint and draw...learn the rules, then break them if you choose. And if you choose to stay classical, that's fine too-we have many traditionally trained instructors with different approaches to classical painting to choose from as well as contemporary and abstract instructors. We will all claim to have THE best approach and system of painting. It's a little bit like religion. But one thing I can assure you, is that you will get 150% from all of us. We love what we do and we would love to show you all that we know.
