Foundations in Classical Painting

After students complete the
Mandala exercise, they begin to apply their painting skills to
the study and copying of
master painters.

Classical and Contemporary Portrait.

Students work from both live models and from photographs. Many of the students in this class have never painted a portrait or, even used oil paint.

It is a difficult subject and ideally learned by painting and drawing only from life.

 

Evening Painting Workshops

It is important to remember that some of our students are everyday people...financial advisors, lawyers, real estate brokers, doctors and also artists. They all have one thing in common--they want to get better at painting, drawing...creating art and that is what we are good at!
