CHERYL KLINE Founder and Director of the Academy is a working artist who is known for her incredible sky paintings and more recently her contemporary series Dancing Oracles. She currently exhibits in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boca Raton and London.
She studied with noted artist Jan Saether at The Bruchion School of Realist Art and at The Florence Academy of Art in Italy. Kline has a Bachelors Degree in Commercial Art from Woodbury University.

HAL YASKULKA is an extraordinary artist with a sensitive touch and a classical sensibility. He creates both old master and contemporary art and exhibits his work nationally.
Hal studied with re-known artist Jan Saether and has exhibited nationally. You may have seen him at The J. Paul Getty doing a live figure painting demonstrations.

GARY BLACKWELL received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida.
He is a signature member of the Pastel Society of the West Coast, and is a full-time painter enjoying both studio and plein-air painting. He works in Oil and pastel.

MARY POMERANTZ was born and raised in Chicago. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the Canadian ivy league, McGill University, in Sociology and Humanistic Studies. She moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the fine arts and headed the McLean Gallery in Malibu from 2002 until 2007. At the McLean Gallery Ms. Pomerantz acted as director and co-curator, successfully exhibiting numerous mid-career and emerging contemporary artists.
She recently left the McLean Gallery to launch a new company that approaches the business of art from outside gallery walls. She is currently developing Mary Pomerantz Fine Art, which is a consulting firm dedicated to supporting visual artists and art institutions. |
