Emerging Artist Painting Workshop, All Levels

Do you already feel confident as a painter but would you like to try some new approaches to everyday ideas? Or maybe you know your direction but you really need some mentoring and critiques to fine tune your work to submit to a gallery. This is an experimental guided workshop for artists to find their voice to be able to show their work or just experiment. Intermediate to advanced levels.

Contemporary Painting

Tuesdays 6:30pm - 7:30pm
Let's loosen up! Scott Yeskel will conduct a contemporary deconstruction demo using a photo reference in this one hour Zoom meeting. Start with a quick sketch ‘thumbnail’ to a color sketch, to a small study. Beginners & Teens are welcome. You can paint along or do it as homework at your free time. The reference image will be sent before the class and class recording will be available after class.

Let's find inspiration. We may visit a virtual exhibit and discuss how artists compose their images and then explore ways that you can dive into a new technique to try it for yourself. Live demonstrations will be your guide. Homework for those who want to try something new and then get feedback. Share a piece that you need help with.
