Do you already feel confident as a painter but would you like to try some new approaches to everyday ideas? Or maybe you know your direction but you really need some mentoring and critiques to fine tune your work to submit to a gallery. This is an experimental guided workshop for artists to find their voice to be able to show their work or just experiment. Intermediate to advanced levels.

Do you ever look at your work and think “it looks so flat?" Studying classical painting techniques is a journey and a process to become a master. That is our goal for you which is why we guide you step by step on this journey. Our world is three dimensional, and one must learn the illusions and techniques painters use to portray this in objects, atmosphere and environment and, a unique and extremely accurate way of measuring.

Build a powerful portfolio with the guide of a professional artist! Master the basics of sketching and painting from life with a Master Artist. Students will learn to use charcoal and oil paints as they develop their portfolio, with creative freedom to choose their subject matter. Open to all Pre-Teens and Teens (8-17).

If you want to be a great jazz player - you need to study scales and classical foundations. The same is true to become a great painter. Many students come to us who have had years of art school, but have never been "taught" how to paint! But your frustration ends at our front door! All levels welcome.

This course emphasizes an academic approach to painting the live figure and the various techniques used for rendering three-dimensional form. By working with a long pose, you will be given ample time to study the shapes, values of the figure. Teens/adults & All levels welcome. (Open to Drawing)
