Sarah Brooke is an artist and actress living and working in Los Angeles. After acting on stage and screen for over 40 years, she decided to try her hand at painting and has been studying classical art techniques and contemporary landscape painting at Kline Academy for 6 years. She has exhibited and sold her work at Kline Academy and Cornelia Street Cafe, where she was part of the exhibit “Actors Who Paint”. Inspired by her past studies of horticulture and a session of Cheryl Kline’s ‘Artist Workshop’, she made a foray into the world of Eco Printing. After copious amounts of research, she has developed techniques to utilize the fascinating process of using live flowers and foliage to print on paper and, by enhancing these prints with other media, create works of art.
